Hi, my name is John Ridpath, a photographer based in the Leander Texas. Photography started as a hobby and quickly became a passion. I specialize in portraits, sports photography, and local events. I strive to create images that showcase personality, achievement, and lasting memories. I am proud to serve the community I’ve called home for nearly 50 years.

Photography has taught me that no two situations are ever exactly alike. Different lighting, locations, weather conditions, and personalities all bring unique challenges—and that’s what keeps photography exciting for me.

While many photographers focus on a single specialty, I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of creating great images in a wide variety of settings. From fast-paced sports action to individual portraits and special events, I approach every session with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.

I believe a great photographer isn’t defined by one type of subject, but by the ability to recognize meaningful moments, adapt to changing conditions, and consistently create images that tell a story.
